I promise that waiting for someone else to be done with band is a crap ton easier than doing band. I got to school at 7am today, and left at 7pm. And then got to come home and do a crap load of advanced hw:(

Oh I know, I was in marching band up until this year because of scheduling conflicts.

Early morning practice for two hours every day, three on Wednesdays.

Night practice from 5:45 to 8:45 on Tuesdays.

Then competitions or football games most weekends.

It was fun though, and I'll be back next year.

I had to do sort of similar things with parties and my sister. We went to the same parties, but she was older, so obviously she liked to stay a bit more late. When my Girlfriend left, I went to the car and called her we should go. NOPE! Ive had to wait for hours, sometimes I slept in the car, sometimes I went to buy a chocolate bar, another time a couple went to their car and had some private time, and another time they thought I was someone else's chauffeur and asked if I had cigarettes or alcohol. It was pretty frustrating, but it made my parents happy, so I just took it in.

It's funny because the really religious mom parks right behind me all the time and walks past and you can visibly see she's offended as all hell!

It doesn't help that the stereo is the Saturn is super kick ass for a stock unit so I have it REALLY loud.
